2012 Presidential Candidate Jon Huntsman Visits FIRST

Huntsman has almost no chance of winning the Republican primaries, but it's nice to see a politician recognizing FIRST.

I'm against most republicans, and I'm against most of Huntsman's stances, but i just might have to make an exception now.

Ron Paul 2012. I highly suggest against voting for a candidate because they recognize FIRST.

I think we need to have a discussion about why that might be a good/bad idea. He certainly wouldn't be high on my list.

I usually don't mix politics and robots. Politicians are good enough at behaving like cold inanimate machines.

But as a Texas guy, I have strong support for Ron Paul, he is one of the few candidates who is humble and believes more in intelligence then playing politics.

Word to the newcomers (in this case <4 years in the competition): Manchester is NH's largest city, and NH is usually the location of the first US Primary. It's actually state law that our primary must be scheduled 7 days before any similar event (Iowa, who holds a caucus, doesn't count).

Because FIRST HQ lives in the Manchester Millyard it's a frequent stop for candidates. You'll see more of this as things get later in the year, and especially as we get closer to Kickoff, which in 2008 occurred the following Tuesday.

Word to the wise: if you're coming to NH this year, book your hotel now.
