INFO BLAST #2 Duel on the Delaware ---------------- Friends of the Duel: EVENT DETAILS Duel on the Delaware 10 Saturday, October 22 Salem Community College - Davidow Hall / DuPont Field House 460 Hollywood Avenue Carneys Point, NJ 08069 Hosted by 365 (MOE) and 316 (LuNaTeCs) This is the second of a series of information blasts regarding the Duel on the Delaware event. ACTIONS (1) DUEL JOB FAIR The Duel on the Delaware Job Fair consists of booths (8-15) with representatives from local companies who are hiring employees. The fair is a perfect opportunity for students and adults to talk with company representatives and learn what opportunities exist and how to apply. Feel free to advertise this (a flyer will be forthcoming) and tell those in the job hunt to bring their resumes. Companies like DuPont, Siemens, JC Penney, and Boeing are currently registered to attend. If attending teams know of other companies who are hiring and who might like booth space to showcase their company and positions, please have them contact John Larock (john.a.larock@usa.dupont,com). (2) DUEL MASTER VOLUNTEER Duel Master Volunteer submissions are now open. Please consider nominating a deserving mentor or volunteer for this recognition. Nominations will only be open until the first week of October. Please have your submission in by that time. It is an opportunity to tell someone who has gone out of their way for your team how much you appreciate what he/she has done. The nomination form for this year is attached to this message.
