Re: CT FIRST University Day
The schedule has been updated. We have a great day planned for Connecticut and Rhode Island FIRSTers. If planning to come, be sure to register for the event so we have an accurate headcount for planning purposes.

Re: CT FIRST University Day
On behalf of my co-presenter Josh and myself we would like to thank those of you who attended our two presenations. We enjoyed it and hope that those who attended came away with a postive experience and good information.
We are working to get the presentations hosted on our teams website. Also a huge thanks to the CTFIRST organization for putting this together, I expect this event to grow from year to year and encourage more teams to attend as well as present. |
Re: CT FIRST University Day
Thanks to CTFIRST for putting on a nice informative event, and thanks to everyone who came and saw Jack and I spend thirty minutes repeating the word "simple" as many times as we possibly could. We rushed the presentation a bit because we thought we had 30 minutes instead of 45, but it came out a bit better than I expected regardless and I'm glad people at least acted like they enjoyed it. :)
I got several requests to post the presentation online. I'll put up something in this thread when I do. I want to add a bit more background and examples to the actual presentation, since a lot of the content was "talked but not written". |
Re: CT FIRST University Day
I had a great time at CT FIRST University Day - I look forward to seeing it grow and I'll definitely be encouraging more teams and individuals to attend and present in the future. :)

EDIT: ...wow Ellen, you have 1380 more posts that I do. That's a lot... |
Re: CT FIRST University Day
I saw Uberbotish people but I was having too much fun wrestling with CCSU audio-video Dalek projector controller thingie for the FLL room to do much networking. I think I got the last lunch served and had to do my wolf impression to get back for the afternoon sessions.
Perhaps we should have a CD meeting next year. (?) |

Our presentations (Drivetrain Design/Strategy & Scouting) were recorded by a mentor from another team. If anyone has any contact information or has seen the video replayed to you at one of your team meetings can you please contact me, I would really like a copy of the recording.
Thanks. |
