I'm not sure if that is part of the game the GDC wants to allow or an oversight.

I hadn't thought of that, but based on the game name, maybe that is the intent of the bowling balls

I'm excited to dive into a game that should have some nice strategic variety.

I think this game would get really interesting if four teams show up to the same match with multiple autonomous options that work. There is some room for putting stuff in the opposing alliance's way and for pushing away the targets that they're trying to manipulate autonomously. It would be pretty fun to anticipate a move like that and thwart it with a different autonomous routine. That might be a pipe dream, but it sounds pretty fun.

Does anybody know if there is an active FTC forum anywhere? The main FIRST site doesn't satisfy my idea of "active" and I don't know of any other places to look.

It seems to me as if there is no definite maximum for the perfect score. This would vary from robot to robot depending on the design.

Oh snap that Cricket bot. It was beautiful.

Actually, I would look into Double Trouble robots that had to lift those Floppies up into the air.

my team's already's got an idea thats going to have a fork lift that goes at least 5 feet high we already got the basic concept down all it has to do is work. what we are going to do is we are gonna go on the ramp, stack all the crates up so they mesh which is only gonna be 3 feet, then were gonna shove the forklift under the crates, and lift it up as high as it can go. i will try to get a picture of it if it acually works.

In my head I thought of something like this, but instead of having forks go under the bottom crate of a stack, it would squeeze the crate from the sides.

us to, but we were going to have a piece of plastic slide under the crates and have servos on the sides of it with metal pieces connected to some plastic that fits into the side of the crate to stabilize it
