We use the University of South Carolina Fabrication Shop and adjoining hallway most of the time. This week we will be setting up in a large carpeted classroom to do some testing with our "half field."

While we haven't used it yet, we actually collaborated with team 1572 to build a quality practice field underneath a big cover they have adjacent to their workshop. Their school used to have a Architecture and Structural Design class, and they used this area to build mockup houses, one of which still resides there. It is completely covered from rain, has built in seating, lights, and vehicle access. 1572 has been testing on it, and we plan to start working there more as soon as we get certain parts of our robot more refined.

One downside: A giant pole directly in the middle of the space for the field. We're going to put a tire on it for safety, but I don't think it will impede our strategy and practice that much. I'm really proud of it to be honest.
