To team 308.
I was also surprised that your robot was not picked to be in the finals. You guys had a great robot. I should know you guys teamed up with wid stang to beat us in the qual matches. You will just have to show everyone next year that you are still someone to contend with. I was also really surprised that team #23 (Boston Edison) was not picked. I thought for sure that they would be picked. Best of luck next year.

I've been reading message after message about how great T-308 is and how much they deserved to be in the finals. I got to thinking: would they have gotten as much publicity if they had been picked? It's kinda ironic really...

Anyway, just making an observation.

PS – I am well aware it’s not about publicity, but still --- thought it was interesting...

Interesting point, Daniel. Honestly though, I don't know if we really wanted publicity this way.

I understand. We got DQed at the NASA Ames regional. I think we got noticed even more than the winners. But just as with you, it's not how we wanted to go out.

It's funny how you can always find something good in something bad though =)

Smile! We all have next year...

We (T330) got DQed in the match right after you. And it didn't help us at all. Maybee there is something more glamorous about tipping someone then touching the robot. ;)
