Scoring and Rule Changes

Scoring and rules will be the same as the official FIRST 2011 LogoMotion game with the following exceptions:

Ubertubes may be place on scoring pegs during teleoperated mode to double point value of any game piece placed over the Ubertube.

Only Ubertubes placed during autonomous mode earn a 6-point bonus.

Game pieces scored on the bottom row are worth 2-points each (rather than 1-point).

Minibot scoring is the same as the normal FRC Season.

Alliance Selection will be #1-8 #1-8 then #8-1 till all robots are drafted, there will be no backup robots as each team will have a 4th robot.

We would like to thank WRRF/LA Robotics for their support. Also special thanks to 254/NASA for letting us use their field elements!

The 971 team is excited to come down to the Madtown Throwdown and roll with the two current World Champs 254, 973 and some other really great teams. Our second robot drive team is a group of freshman and sophomores which I call the Xbox generation and they are really good. They have been burning batteries up as they practice.

See everyone next weekend.

RC, can you do me a favor and not schedule this the same weekend as one of the NJ/PA offseasons next year? I need an excuse to visit the west coast, heck I might even bring Brokash with me.

No problem, RC has you covered. He put together a little event called the Central Valley regional Apr 5th. Checking the PA/NJ calendar, I don't see any conflicts. CYA in April.

So....when does it start? I'm seeing a blank screen with a wolf on it...

Caught a glimpse of a particular orange robot though. ;)

What's happened so far? The "Scores and Rankings" page on Madstream is blank too...

I'll shoot RC a text, they are probably busy right now.

Texted back: They are just running practice matches right now, the feed will not go up until later.

As much as I love your logo, I would enjoy some robot action. :\
