2012 Fingerlakes Regional
With the team list finalized as of today, I think it is appropriate to start this thread now.
Looking at the list, it struck me that a combination of MAR, FiM, and FLR being week 2 caused a sever drop in diversity at FLR; 37/40 teams are from NY, with two from Ohio and only one from Canada. What is this witchery, a FLR without the Thunder Chickens! Anyways, any early predictions, newcomers, or rookies (4093), or just the same crowd who comes every year. Lets get this started! On another subject, I have been discussing (very vaguely) with a few members of 1126 of some sort of Fingerlakes Partnership, in which we swap strategies, leadership methods, processes, etc off season. Would any other teams be interested in this? |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Hard to make predictions right now, but I foresee a lot of stiff competition, as with every year! A lot of good teams with great robots. But true, the diversity is somewhat limited, which I'm quite disappointed in :(
I'm hoping to see 3951 succeed in their rookie year. They're being helped primarily by The Grapes of Wrath, 1551, and 1126 is lending them a hand at Ruckus, so I'm hoping to see them take off quickly. On a side note, 217 not at FLR isn't really witchery. They've been here a total of 3 times, the past two years, and 05'. But... they were a great addition. I will miss them, and their neon green of doom. I do wish we'd have been able to have some more matches with them and 2056 though. Those were some matches I still watch again and again! In short: I'm looking forward to the Finger Lakes Regional! |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
So, the NYS Championship was scheduled for week 2? :D
217 made it to FLR in the past because FLR was Week 1. With FLR being week 2 this year, it cuts into 217's Michigan State District events. Mystery solved. On the subject of FLR being mainly a NY event this year, I've been sorta wishing for this kind of setup for a while. FLR is many different things, and one of them is being a premiere event for FIRST robotics in Western and Central New York. To have such a turnout of the Best of the Best NYS robotics teams, it is the year that teams show their support for each other. I fully support a Finger Lakes Partnership, where FLR teams at least make contact with each other to ensure we are all living up to the potential of this event, or go further to share ideas and such. I will say that 174's mentors might be hesitant on it. However if you want to try something of that effect, message me and I'll be the line though to 174 and see if I can get the team involved in something like that. Also, I feel like I can call the elimination alliances right here, right now...but that would be a lousy move, so I won't post it. I'll be volunteering again for FLR, and it will be my 5th volunteering year! Woo! |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Grim - The list may appear to be complete, however, until the December deadline it may still change. Each event has a cushion for rookie teams and waitlist teams. FLR is always one that my team wants to attend (I have family in Honeoye Falls) - perhaps next year.
|
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
217 is coming down to Maryland week 2 to attend the Chesapeake Regional, which is cool as I figured they would never make down this way with the Michigan schedule.
|
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
So after Week 1 of regionals almost all complete.....
WHO'S GOING AND WHO'S READY FOR FLR 2012!?!?! |

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Team 578 is ready to rock the house!!!!!
Cant wait to see everyone there. Good Luck all. |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
As usual, 1126 is excited to attend! This is our 10th year competing, and we are really looking forward to a great season, and the atmosphere at FLR is always great! There are definitely some good looking robots out, and some lessons learned from week 1 (I'm glad we weren't week 1 this year)!
And as i've said before, Simon, i would be for this partnership. It would be cool to see something form from it! |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
We'll be there, as usual!
|
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
You can count on Devil Tech being there :-)
I have mixed feelings about it being mostly NY teams. we dont get to see the giants like Thunder Chickens and OP robotics, but on the other hand we get to have the best of the best of upstate NY shine! |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
After a year off, 1507 is very excited to return to FLR and compete with some of my favorite teams!
|
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
I am in support of a finger lakes partnership. I am wanting to continue pushing through some changes on Team 73 like going to a year round schedule. We will need some help from other teams when it comes planning some off season activities.
|
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
I am in support of a fingerlakes partnership. I could probably meet on Thursday. Anyone want to setup like some kind of meeting?
|
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Anyone up for laser tag on Friday night?
|
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
We need some type of team social event for FLR.
Ill be busy Friday sorry can't... |

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
I think this is an appropriate place to post this, so here goes.
What: Chief Delphi Meetup Why: So we can all shake each others hands, put names to faces, and wish eachother good luck in the coming competition (and also talk about some sort of Fingerlakes collaboration project) When: Thursday, at Lunch time (I believe that's 12 O'Clock) Where: On the practice field, at the pits I'll be wearing a nametag with my real life name on it, as well as my CD name, so if you see me around stop and say hi! |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Lasertag would be sweet! Alas, I will be occupied Friday night.
Anyway, I will be sure to get down to this little gathering, simon. For the rest of CD attending FLR, here is a little event reminder (if you have facebook). Sign up! http://www.facebook.com/events/311764985551586/ |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Ill go simon. Cant wait to see you all there. Also were not doing tank treads this year so no pushing match :P

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Simon I was thinking about the Rochester team collaboration project.
Some things we could do:
These are some general things... |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Quote:
On a side note, 1126 is part of RCR (Rochester Community Robotics) which helps out a buch of teams in the area. This could be a firm base to start with! |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
That sounds like a great idea! I'm not sure how often we'd be able to make the trek, but count us in as at least interested.
|
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Doing a robotics summer camp at 30 Hart would be a good way to spread the word through the community and secure a new generation of students for the robotics team particularly the other inner city Rochester teams who have difficulty getting students to join.
Also it would be great to do an off season event either during the Monroe county Fair or even the New York State fair. |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
We could get people from multiple teams to help run it Ed.

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Ok...I know its off topic of the "FLR", but 174 finally has a robotics team within a short drive of them - It's team 4071. (look at that, an alteration of the number 0174) They are located in the city of Syracuse, about a 15 minute drive from us, this year going to the NYC regional, and 174 hasn't made any real formal contact with them.
Now the thing is, getting FIRST teams in the Syracuse area has been a huge hassle for us. For one, over the years of being discouraged that area schools don't want to host FIRST teams due to money and resources are pooled to other competitions, our lead mentors have given up attempting to start teams and replicate what you all have done in Rochester to turn Syracuse into another hub of FIRST in NY. And to see another team on the horizon is the best news I've heard in forever. It's just that 174 has barely had any official visits/talks with 4071 due to the last team that started in the area only lasted a year and many of us have become pessimistic on the idea that other FIRST teams will be created and stay in SYR. If you would like to do some sort of "FLR collab", I would like to formally propose an initial massive project. I'm not a person who can start new teams other than making a great presentation to persuade these SYR area schools to follow the Diatonic Carbonites into trying the FIRST program. Fortunately, there isn't a lack of area support for FIRST - 174 is given decent chunks of money every year from businesses that "tried to start a team, but didn't get it started in time". I know it's my fault that I haven't gotten 174 to the State Fair shows (I mean we are a 20 minute drive to the fairgrounds), I just haven't been around all the time and within the ROC area enough to know how all of you in ROC are doing things. So, if anyone in ROC who knows how to build FIRST teams from the ground up, would like to help me and a few others to do a little seed-sowing and build up some teams in SYR, we could expand FLR's teams who attend. Imagine if we get to the point where we need two fields at FLR in different parts of RIT. (And also the Carrier Dome at SU would be a great place for the NY State Championship when that happens, so having a SYR FIRST hub would help make that happen.) This is sorta the result of frustrations from some other FIRST mentors and some 174 alumni that we wish for SYR to be as big a place for FIRST as Rochester someday, but we just can't ever start it up. And if we had help from some ROC peoples, we could be a collab of two cities, rather than a "rivalry" of cities. Just a thought. Thanks for listening. |

The going is slower than my ambitious little brain would like, but we've successfully started one team, have more students from another school on our team now, and other schools are contacting us about how to get involved. The beauty of STier is that you only need your own school's permission, and the permission of parents -- the school districts they're from don't need to do anything until they've got a constituency beating down their door with corporate sponsorship and volunteers and eager students all lined up. (And failing that, you can still go 4H!) |

I would love to see enough team there taht we can run a district model like in MI. A Buffalo area district, the Rochester district, CNY, Capitol Region, NYC, and LI. Sounds like a fun system to me. Lets talk this weekend. Speaking of that, who's rweady to roll some robots this week? |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
I know our administrators have been talking to schools around the Greater Buffalo Area, but as of now there are only 4 teams. However, we are relatively inexperienced at starting teams, so a group effort has the potential to go far.
On another note, I'm extremely excited for this weekend! Can't wait to see everyone there. |

Anyone know who the MC will be this year? Steve? Karthik? Eric?

FLR is going to be really fun tomorrow. Many of the teams out there are rather equal in their capabilities, which is going to make for some very interesting eliminations - however I believe that the first seed alliance will win whichever they are.
Good luck to all teams. |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Yeah was cool we ran into a couple problems with our wedge. The first practice match they deployed it and it got caught in the bumper and hit the power switch turning our robot off the whole match.
Its fixed now :) We double balanced successfully if you saw at the last second. ![]() Good luck to everyone tomorrow. Lets play some rebound rumble. |

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
All Systems appear to be go with the alternate bridges.
|
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
The new ramp underneath is doing a very good job of keeping balls from getting stuck. Once I saw a ball going in as the bridge was coming down, so it got stuck. As soon as a robot tipped the bridge up, the ball came out. A couple of times, I've seen a ball sitting just under the bridge (within a foot of the edge, off the ramp), and our robot was able to get it out without too much trouble.
All in all, IMHO, an excellent improvement by the GDC. |

Any update on alliance selections?
|
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
First (no pun intended), I would like to thank all the volunteer, and field staff. The inspection crew was amazingly efficient, and worked to help teams get their robot to pass, not just to call them on rules. The Referees were great, as well. There were no calls that I noticed that were questionable. And our MC was fabulous as well (That's why we do the math!), not to mention the sultry sound of the Announcer's voice. There is not a single regional that has volunteers as good as FLR.
Thanks to our alliance partners 843 and 3003! 3003-You guys were on our picklist from the very start. Originally, we were looking to form a scoring based alliance, but as soon as a couple of teams were picked from our scoring chart, we moved to the balancing one, of which you were the top of. It was a pleasure to work with you. 843-Thanks for being the only team from Canada to ditch GTR and come hang with the cool cats at FLR. As soon as we picked 3003, we decided to move to the 'go big or go home' strategy and move forward with a triple balance alliance. We were stunned that you didn't get picked until the second draft, and snapped on a fantastic alliance partner. Both of you guys: It was a pleasure to work with you both. Fantastic alliance partners, and congrats for entering the elite club that is the Triple Balancers. I hope we can work together again in the future, and would like to keep in touch. If any of you are on Chief Delphi, shoot me a PM and we can work something out. Here's a video of the only triple balance (in eliminations--we managed it twice on the practice field) at FLR 2012: http://youtu.be/nNPPihOZ1K0?hd=1&t=50s 2172, 250, 1518-You guys were great to play against, and a victory over you means a lot. You guys stayed professional and gracious through our quarterfinals, as well as having some nice robots. Good Game. 340, 3015, 4124-It is an honor to be eliminated by such good opponents. From the second I watched 340's reveal video here on Chief, I knew they would go far this year, and they did not disappoint. The simplicity and elegance of your dumping mechanism is a feat of engineering. The thing it does that other robots can't do is keep the center of gravity low, while still allowing for 100% shots into the second basket. We had our eyes on 3015 from the very beginning, and were on the very top of our pick list. In fact, we had made a pre-selections agreement to choose them, and when 340 noticed as well, and chose them, our scouting setup was in quite the predicament of rearranging our list. Your shooting skills were paralleled by very few at the regional. Finally, 4124, the almost-rookie. As the counterpart to Division by Zero, we expected a lot of this rookie team, and they didn't disappoint. How they were left in the third draft for the second seed is a testament to the quality of teams at Fingerlakes. 1507, 191, 3951-It was clear from the beginning that 1507 deserved to win this regional. They were simply a head and shoulders better than much of the competition, and it showed. Congrats on the well deserved win, guys. Not to underplay the influence of 191, the eternal X-Cats. If there was one team we were to look up to, it would be the Cats. You guys exemplify everything we would like to be as a team, and manage to produce a winning robot regularly. This is you first regional win in a few years, right? It also shows how important those Thursday practice matches can be: If you have a working robot the second you show up, you can practice your drivers on the real field, something not to be underestimated. Finally, 3951, another great rookie to enter into the Fingerlakes community. Special shutout to 191 again, for helping us with our bridge manipulator. Though we didn't get it on there in time for Elims today, we will have it at DC and maybe you'll get to see your effect at Champs. Thanks! 340-Congrats on the Chairmans award. There's a reason this is the highest honor in FIRST, and you guys delivered. When we set the goal of 1250 hours community service for the team, we thought we were in Chairmans territory. Doing the math, you guys doubled us. I know our new goal for next year: Double 340. You're a role model and an inspiration to us all. On one more subject, I would like to bring up the issue of Blue Alliance station #1. We have noticed a correlation between robots losing connection from the field and being at this station. It happened to us in a match in qualifications, and twice during eliminations to our alliance partner. I'm happy that the regional turned out the way it did, but would it be a good idea to direct an email at the FTA alerting her to check if there is indeed a problem? Does anyone know how I might finder her contact information? Have any other teams noticed this odd issue? Finally, we won the Engineering Inspiration Award, and plan to attend Championships for the first time in 7 years. It's a pretty big deal, and we are totally out of the loop for Championship organizing. How do teams from the area usually get out to St. Louis? Bus? Plane? How much of the team do you take? I should probably start a new thread for this, but I'll ask it in here, because I want the advice of Fingerlakes region teams, since they are approximately the same distance from there that we are. Any other tips for going to champs with a big team? How do you choose who goes? Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks everyone for the fantastic Regional. I've been to and watched quite a few now, and nothing can compare to FLR for enthusiasm, camaraderie, gracious professionalism, and just pure awesomeness. When I'm at the Fingerlakes Regional, I feel like I'm at home. On a last note, I had the opportunity to shake the hands of pfravield and Koko Ed in person. Nice speaking with both of you! |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
What an event! Quite possibly the best FLR to date, and filled with the most exciting Elimination matches. Let me get it all out:
First to team 340, for their again well deserved Regional Chairman's Award. I hope this is the year for you at the Championship. Congrats and thanks for setting the bar high for the rest of us to emulate. Second to 639 for Engineering Inspiration award. Have fun at St. Louis, and good luck at the competition. You are very deserving of such an award and I hope you bring back some excellent memories to share for next year. Thirdly, I have to say that at the start of this regional, we didn't believe our robot would be as successful as it was. And to see the joy on the faces of the students of 174 as our robot performed as we hoped our designs were leading us to was something I won't forget. Your final rank of 5th seed beats my senior year's rank of 6th seed - there is nothing to be discouraged by. It has been a pleasure to mentor such an amazing group of students. Your hard work was paid off. Now on to DC! (EDIT: Also, anyone interested in information of our Mule Pulley drive train should keep an eye out. I'll try to get a thread on it once I collect the CAD files and more information. PM me if you want me to send it to you sooner than later.) On behalf of team 174, I would like to extend our complete and utter gratitude to teams 1126, SPARX and 3173, The Igknighters. I don't think we could have asked for better alliance partners. It was an honor to have our team number next to the legendary 1126, a team 174 looks up to with the greatest of respect. And to 3173, every year your robots get better and better. We picked you for your hybrid mode, but also because of your high spirit and energy that you have for your team and FIRST. I and the rest of 174 look forward to seeing both of you in future FLR competitions, and maybe we can work together for another shot at the title. Next, to 1507, 191 and 3951. Our alliance was defeated by the best alliance, and that alliance was you. Much respect to each of you. Another moment I'm not going to forget, is when 191's Inbounder turned to me in that last match with a look of disbelief of her face and asked me if they were really going to win. I couldn't help it - I had just as big a smile and said "Congratulations" as the buzzer sounded off. To have been caught in your celebration was fun. Good luck to you all in your future events and we will see you next year. To 340, 3015, 4127 and 3044, You played hard fought matches, and an alliance I thought wasn't going to get very far, turned me into a fool for thinking that. Good luck to each of you in your next events and future FLR competitions. And finally - I'd like to thank all of those I have the great pleasure to know who volunteer and work at FLR. It's one large family now, and to work beside all of you is truly an honor. Here is to hoping we can get classic teams like 217, 188, 772, 365 and so on to come back to FLR to join us again. Also, big shout out to Dylan who was a great Backup MC, and I think we can all say we want him back, but with an upgraded title. ;) Thank you to all who make this event the best event of the year, and I'll see you all next time! It was also great to meet the famous Mike and Justin of Mike and Justin in the Morning. I'll keep making videos for your show anytime. |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
The D&C did a nice story on FLR . YNN who has always had FLR's back from the start did a nice story as well. I was very pleased with the press coverage FLR was getting this year and was VERY pleased with the implementation of the Media pins 340 designed. I'm gonna take that with me to other regionals and encourage them to use them. It saves alot of headaches of dealing with teams media members of having to rotate a media badge all day long when we got better things to do (like getting robot on and off the field).

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
FLR was once again a great regional and the finals were awsome..... i wanted to give a big thank you to team 340, 4124... you guys were a great alliance...i would also like to thank team 3044 for coming in at the last second after 3015 broke down. You guys gave a great effort!

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Thanks to everyone who made FLR another great event. Everyone behind the scenes and all of the volunteers made this event truly feel like home.
Congrats to 639 for winning the EI! You are a great team and if you need any help with plans getting to Championship let me know. You are a team on the rise and we know we will have to push ourselves that much harder next year to stay out in front of you. 1507, 191 and 3951, what can I say? You were an amazing alliance. We gave you a run for the banner but you guys just had a little more in the end. To 1507, this is the 2nd time in 4 years you have beaten us in the finals at FLR. It’s getting a little old. X-cats you are a class organization and we aspire to join you some day. 3951, welcome to FIRST, not a bad first FIRST event. You have great things in line for you. To 3015, 4124 and 3044, you were great alliance partners. We couldn’t have asked for a better group to work with. We almost had it. 3015 Lets give it another run at Buckeye in 2 weeks! 4124 you have great potential and were a great partner. 3044 did an admirable job filling in for that last match. You came in and gave it all you could, thanks. 1511, 3838, 1559 you gave us a scare in the QF’s. I wasn’t sure if we were going to get by you. Good luck at the future events! You were all on our pick list and I was scared to face you in the first round. Larry & Jeff. I don’t know two guys who deserve the honor more. Volunteer of the Year and WFA! Awesome. Congrats to all of the award winners especially 4093 rookie inspiration, 1551, and 3157. And the Dean’s List award winners Justin 1511 and our own Christa 340! Thanks to Xerox for adding a scholarship to the award. Ron gave a great tribute to Gene! I am looking forward to Buckeye in 2 weeks! 120, 340, 378, 578, 1450, 1507, 1551, 2172, 2228, 2340, & 3015. That’s some repeat list! Lets take Ohio by storm. |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Team 578 is looking forward to seeing everyone at Buckeye too!

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
What a fantastic regional. Team 1507 didn't attend FLR last year due to being a First Week regional but I'm so glad we attended this one. I've attended regionals in Rochester, Annapolis and Cleveland; and FLR has always been my favorite venue. Former 4-year student and I've just now become a second year Mentor, so this is the first Regional I've attended in person in nearly 4 years and I'm ecstatic we could have won.
And I want to say great job to our alliance partners Team 191 and Team 3951. Great scorers and balancers the both of them. And what a brilliant idea The Suits had to feed us balls during Hybrid mode. You guys were great! Not to mention that 3951 got the Highest Rookie Seed award! We were extremely lucky nobody picked you guys for the second choice before it got back to us. All of us in the stands had our fingers crossed that none of the other Alliance Captain scouts saw your brilliance ;) I just wish I could attend the Buckeye Regional to see so many of you fantastic FRL teams compete yet again. Also one last shout-out to G.R.R. I knew without a doubt you guys would get the nod for the Regional Chairman's Award |

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Wow, what an event. Even though I'm no longer on a team anymore, I did a fair bit of running around for 1126. I saw a lot of great teams compete, and a lot of teams I know SparX looks forward to seeing in St.Louis.
1126 started out really rough. We were having trouble on our new drive system, our auto targeting wasn't working, and our bridge manipulator was pretty sub-par. Thursday and Friday, we didn't really do much as a whole. Lot's of software changes, some critical decisions, a lot of hard work and lots of hours later, we had a robot that may not have been perfect, but it carried it's weight in matches, and got us onto the 5th seeded alliance. Thanks to 174 for allowing us to be on their alliance, and to 3173, for making a great partner. We look forward to working with you in the coming years :D 1507, 191 and 3951 was an unreal alliance. When I saw 1507 compete at Rally, I knew right off the bat they were going to be in line for winning the whole thing. When the X-Cats hit the field with that amazing robot of theirs, the deal was sealed. Throwing in one of the stand-out rookies at the event in 3951, that was icing on the cake. 340, 3015, 4124, and 3044. Honestly, as much as I loved your opponents in the finals, I was pulling for you. Maybe I'm biased because 1126 and 340 went to the finals last year, and I wanted to see 340 finish the job, but I was rooting so hard for you guys. The outcome was as expected (they were the #1 seeded alliance after all), but you guys put up one heck of a fight. If 3015 hadn't broken down that last match, I think you guys could have done it. Oh well, that's how it goes sometimes. I hope next year you get back to that stage, and maybe we can be there next to you again :) Also, congrats to 340 on another Chairman's Award. We still hope one day to earn that honor, but it's be hard to live up to the standard set by our friends from Churchville :D A quick shout out goes to 639. 639, who hasn't been able to go to the world championships since 2005, earned the Engineering Inspiration award, and thus qualified to go! I watched their team's reaction as they realized they could go to St.Louis, and I was so proud of the team that 1126 has become such good friends with in recent years. Congrats to everyone on another great Finger Lakes Regional. I'm considering volunteering next year, but one way or another, I look forward to seeing everyone again :) |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
What a regional! Despite persistent gremlins, that was one of the most fun, rewarding experiences of my FIRST career.
Congrats to everyone on an awesome event, and I'll see some of you in Cleveland! |

Congratulations to team 340 on the Chairman's Award!
I dont know how many times you folks have won the RCA, but it certainly is impressive that you've done it a great no. of times in recent years. How about posting the video? The best part of seeing RCA's at various regionals is watching the video as we, the audience, get to see all that you folks do. |

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Us at 3015 were thrilled to be a part of FLR this year. That loss in the final was particularly hard to take and I'm still thinking about it days after but that was by far the best we've ever done and we really want to thank our alliance partners for a great showing.
Can't wait to compete at Buckeye! |

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
Excellent event everyone! Great to see new schools participating in this years event.
Let's make sure we keep growing the program in Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse. So we can have a much bigger and louder event next year! |
Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
If it matters to anyone, the following teams from FLR will be attending the World Championships in St.Louis:
120 191 340 378 639 1126 1507 3173 3951 4203 Just in case anyone wants to try and meet up with another team/members of another team. (Because a number of teams from FLR are also attending second regionals (namely Buckeye and Connecticut), the list could expand). |

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
174 usually goes to Buckeye, but we thought we'd try something new this year and go to DC. We will see 639 again, but thats all of us from FLR. Good luck to you all at Buckeye and Conn and your other events. I hope 174 can make it big in DC and take it to St. Louis (though if we do get the chance to go, there is nothing as of right now that will let us go. haha)

Re: 2012 Fingerlakes Regional
that was possibly my favorite event so far. definitely the most intense. congrats to 1507, 191, and 3951. you guys played some amazing matches and deserve the win ^_^. Good luck at St. Louis. ^_^ also thanks to our amazing team mates. both in the finals, and in the qualifications rounds. your cooperation and ability to adjust to our.... ummm..... glitches, really saved the day. good luck to all going to worlds, and have fun ^_^ that is of course what this is about.
there is only one thing i think could have been better. the music. the selection was great, but getting the original by the artist, there is nothing like it. but, what ever. fun event ^_^. GL to all GO TEAMS! |
