"I know what you're thinking--did he drill six speed holes or only five? To tell you the truth, in all the confusion, I sort of lost track myself. But seeing as this is a Bosch pneumatic drill, the best in the world, which can drill half your weight out in one go, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel light yet? Well, do you, robot?"

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

As much as he wanted to believe, the 2415 student would never be able to be a bada$$ cop with a drill. Keep dreamin'!

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

Add a set of wheels and we're good to go.

And another rousing game of Ninja beings.

<npoe> Because Billfred is old, I'm supplying this link to explain my joke. </npoe>

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

Surrounded and caught red-handed, the saboteur shot the lights out in a desperate attempt to escape.

Unfortunately, he was still caught on film, thanks to the flash camera.

Taylor 21-11-2011 07:22

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

Al Skierkiewicz 21-11-2011 08:29

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

The name is Bond, Andrew Bond.
Of course this is just a prototype, Q needs to come up with an alternative for the long hose.

DonRotolo 21-11-2011 11:40

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

OK Jim, we KNOW we said that the robot has to be dead before we can scavenge it for parts, but shooting it won't help....

Wayne Doenges 21-11-2011 12:14

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

Student: "Don't be alarmed, this is only a drill."

Frenchie461 21-11-2011 17:29

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

That's okay, It's just metal, we can fix it.

[npoe] If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, I'd be rich [/npoe]

I believe we can now pass the weight section of this inspection.

[npoe] Oh the things I could say about 2415 *troll face* (yay GA team humor) [/npoe]

Now you all see what happens when a game of Ninja gets completely out of hand.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

Psst...you forgot something. The picture would be more believable if there was a bit in the drill.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

To a man holding a drill -- EVERYTHING robotic looks like a potential weight reduction project.

Welcome to Extreme Makeover Robot Edition! This is day one the demo day, we have just one week to do what normally takes six weeks to do. We have a great crew this week, are we ready...... lets bring this robot down.

IndySam 25-11-2011 20:29

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

The robot is in the metal, I just have to remove the right amount to let it show.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

Despite loosing his safety glasses (bottom center) in the barrage of hex keys, He still managed to get the frame assembled in record time. Unfortunately, the time saved was lot again when it came time to put the tools away.::ouch::

Team member: Ok, here's the drill.

Robot: How is it that I keep improving and the team puns don't?

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

Why is the flux capacitor always the hardest thing to get to? Haven't they figured out that it should be easily accessible for when it needs to be fixed?

Karibou 27-11-2011 00:55

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

Off-camera: "And what did you say your name is?"
Student: "Bond. As in, 'let's bond some metal together!'"

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

FIRST, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot drill, Courage to drill the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #385

[npoe] @Karibou, you should have said,"Bond, Ionic Bond."
