How to convert to an .iso file...?
Doing the safety animation, and we're a little stuck. I checked on a couple of file conversion websites to see if they had the option of converting a file to .iso, but they don't. I don't know how else to convert a file, or if the maya software will just automatically save it in that format, or what.
Thanks for all your help!! Good luck with your own animations. Marie Townsend, 3784 Bit By Bit |

If you need to burn it to a DVD, there is a lot of software around that only requires you to have a video file. It should be trivial to burn this file to a disc, and there is also software that will format it for NTSC DVD players, if that's what they require. And a lot of software will write to iso's instead of discs, and if you can't get that working you can always burn the disc, then read it back into an iso. Software I've used for this sort of thing include Nero, Roxio, Cyberlink Power2Go. They are all paid for; they came OEM on various machines I've worked on. Otherwise you can look around for free options: one that I found is http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/free-dvd-video-software.htm looks like its totally free and won't bother you about any trial periods (can be hard to find free Windows software of this nature).
It seems likely that they will be fine with just an iso with the video file (in mp4,avi,mov or something common), as if you just burned the file to a disc, in which case Ether's post will be perfect. |
