Here's how I go through wavier claims: I have a spreadsheet showing the claim lists in order of priority. First priority with a claim gets the first claim on their priority list. That team is then removed from all the lists, the claimant goes to the bottom of the priority list, and the claim is put off to one side in a list. Wash, rinse, repeat. So if 1477 is your #2 and is claimed, your #3 becomes your #2 (or #1, if your #1 has already happened).

3378 is not a team that 1676 has (3774 is the team that got its number twice-confused--first as 3374, then as 3378). Missing team priority is rescinded, and 4338 is back on the available list. 1676 goes back to 2nd from the bottom of the priority list--but may maintain the claim of 4338 for 3774 if desired.

But, folks, remember: If you have a missing team in an event, you have missing team priority in that event until you fill that hole, and the above is how it works.
