Team 3780 Beta Seminar / Open House

Hi all,
Team 3780 will be hosting a seminar to discuss the 2012 hardware and software beta. We will be covering changes in the WPILibJ framework, the utilities provided by FIRST, and the changes in hardware. The seminar will include a PowerPoint presentation on the changes, as well as coding demos, software demos, and some hands-on time with the beta hardware and software. The seminar will start at 10 a.m. and will end by 1 p.m. at the latest.

The seminar will be held at the Wheeler School in Providence, RI. The address is 216 Hope St. Providence, RI 02906. Parking is available directly across the street from the school (next to a gated playground). Team members will be in front of the school to direct guests to the meeting space where the seminar will be held. Lunch will not be provided, however there are a lot of places to eat within walking distance of the school.

If anyone is interested, the powerpoint from the beta presentation is available here. If anyone is interested in example code (note, this will not compile with the current WPILibJ version), they can download it or look at it here. If anyone would like an explanation of certain parts of the code, or has any other questions about the beta don't hesitate to post.
