One month to kickoff! - FRC History
Hi all,
One month left until kickoff! Are you ready? Meanwhile, our team has just made a short recap of all the FRC Competitions from 1992 to 2011, so you can see what we already had in the previous 20 years (mostly balls and tubes): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUHsAkY_3ow In addition, as someone from a team that its rookie year was 2009, it's interesting for me to hear what were the feelings during the building seasons and the competitions of earlier years. As I look on these games now, they look pretty primitive, while they were probably the highlight of technology back then... |

Very well done!!
thanks for compiling that!! Brought back many memories... thanks! |
Re: One month to kickoff! - FRC History
The games may not be designed as well as some of today's and fewer matches were played, but there's no denying that these robots are feats of engineering. If your robot changes the rulebook for all future games to come, you did an incredible job. (71 in 02)

Excellent video! I have watched every single one of those matches separately, but it makes it so nice to have them in one video to show the progression of FIRST.

Thanks for the video! It's great to show our new students how FIRST games have evolved over the years.
Wishing everyone relaxation and rest before build season (we will all need it)! John |
