2012 kitbot
Will the 2012 kitbot change much compared to the 2011 one? Is there a chance it'll stay the same?

Re: 2012 kitbot
It will most likely stay the same as it was last year. It all depends on the game. For example, Breakaway added the elevated sections for the wheels so that it could go over the bumps.
I would like the 2012 kitbot to go back to the 6 inch wheels over the 8. (Just my opinion.) |

Personally, I'd like a year where teams are required to use bicycle wheels, and try to watch teams attempt 6 wheels drives with them. :) This, of course, would be after I graduate. :p |

We don't know anything. Honestly, we could lose the KOP bot.

This years game is for water.
We will be building boats.... KitBoats... not kitbots.. |

Really though: having built one pre-kitbot robot, I think there are a lot of teams that would struggle greatly without a kitbot in the modern sense (in some form or fashion--note the changeover from the IFI Kitbot used in 2005-2008 to the AndyMark C-Base in 2009 and onward). Bet on something usable being in the box. |
