Dean's Chair
Posted by Bill Beatty.
Other on team #71, Team Hammond, from Team Hammond. Posted on 7/6/99 9:19 PM MST If anyone needs a copy of the Dateline program showing this amazing chair, Team Hammond will have some available at the Rumble. If anyone else would like a copy, let me know. As for the gyro module, I think Dean leaned on the manufacurer to donate them for the kit. I am curious about the fail safe provisions that Dean certainly has built in to handle failures, such as computer or motor malfunctions, particularly when in the 'stand up' mode. I bet it uses gravity and returns safely to four wheel position. Looking forward to seeing you folks at the Rumble. Bill Beatty |
