Are we allowed to use one inch spacers from home depot?

Maybe, but we don't know what you plan to use them for, so it's kind of hard to provide a definite answer.

edit: Oh, you're on an FTC team....what do the rules say?

So it appears that, if the one inch spacer you found at Home Depot is the same as the Tetrix part, then you can use it.
