[FTC]: TETRIX Resource Set
We're a rookie FTC team this season and we're trying to figure out what we can buy to supplement the base kit. This boxed 'resource set' might be what we're looking for, but I just wanted to get some opinions and details on it.
http://www.legoeducation.us/eng/prod...ource_set/2100 Has anyone purchased this from LEGO Education? If so, can you tell me in more detail what's in there? I can't tell from their photo and lack of description what size those wheels are, or the length of those frame pieces. Assuming 4" and 11.3" ? |
Re: [FTC]: TETRIX Resource Set
You can get a description from the US First website.
http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprogr...ocumentlibrary Click on the link for the 2011-2012 Resource Kit Components. Also, if your are ordering for an FTC team, use this link to get your discount.. http://parts.ftcrobots.com/Default.aspx?bhcp=1 The cost of the kit is the same, but you recieve more parts (including 2 motors with hubs, mounts and wires, and a logitech controller). |
Re: [FTC]: TETRIX Resource Set
Certain parts are not included in either of those kits that you may consider purchasing. For example, many of the sensors you have to buy from an outside provider. Those are from the HiTechnic website: http://www.hitechnic.com/products
