I have to come up with $1000 more than usual.. We already have enough trouble coming up with what $$ we need.. How are we going to come up with another $1000?!? Then I thought about it.. And realized that I would no longer need to pretend that we had a control system during the times that we normally haven't.. No longer would I have to 'hotwire' the 'bot if you will to show what each mechanism does.. I'm liking it more and more as I think about it.. -KATE- Eat, Sleep, Dream FIRST. |

From my e-mail to Eric, the CPU next year will be the SX version of the Basic Stamp, the only difference in the PBasic is that it has commands for reading and writing to the EAPROM, and you can select one of 8 2K programs in the EAPROM, instead of having only default and whatever you have. This does mean you're stuck with adding constants so your variable will be always positive. I now have two systems (97 ?), one of which I have cloned to work with all the other First parts. Maybe with two of them running at 50 Mhz, and the resulting 16 PWM outputs, 8 analog inputs and 16 relays outputs, we might get enough controls.... |
