New version of the Windriver update posted

There was an error in the installer that was posted for the C++ WPILib update to Workbench. It was missing the WPILib.a library. A new version has now been posted and is available on FIRSTForge.

Sorry about the mistake.

Brad,

I don't see any files when I follow that link.

It's back now. There was an error when I gave it a test. I got nervous and temporarily removed it. It turned out to be an older image on my cRIO, and I replaced the update. Let us know if you have any issues.

So I've got the two new .zip files from NI, but they are password protected. What is the decrypt password?

Thanks,
bob

Ok - the password is the one from kickoff: !HotShots!KnowBalance!

Now...next problem -- I got the program to run and find my cRIO no problem, but I can't find the FRC_2012_*.zip file. Where is it?

Thanks,
bob

Aha!

So, for C++, Brian mentioned the NI updates in links here....

http://firstforge.wpi.edu/sf/frs/do/...2_update_for_c

but there is also a link at the bottom of that page which is the actual C++ workbench update that contains the cRIO image in it at:

How do u decrypt the d link from last years competition?

BradAMiller 12-01-2012 21:23

Plug a laptop via Ethernet into the switch on the Dlink. Then using a web browser connect to it, should be 10.x.y.1. The from the web setup pages turn off WPA encryption.
