[G16] Rule ??

'[G16] During Hybrids, Robots may not contact the carpet on their Alliance Station end of the court."
Does this rule imply that every game will start off tied 6 to 6?

Recall that the robots start on the opposing alliance's side.

They don't want a team's autonomous to be a full reverse into the other aliance's key, potentially destroying robots and earning a tech foul/DQ. Just a preventative measure, I believe.

It is also likely that this rule will prevent a Kinect controlled robot from interfering with the opposing robots that are trying to score in autonomous mode. Those robots start in the key but may drive out of that safe zone as part of their strategy.
