4 gripping wheels

If a robot running tank drive with 4 2011 kit wheels in the corners turns, will the robot bounce or jostle around? Or will it turn normally. I believe it will turn normally, but I am being told otherwise. Any examples of robots that bounce or do not bounce?

The larger your wheel base is, the more likely you are to skid while turning. If you have a wheel in each corner of your robot and you try a turn (assuming you're using tank drive), then the answer is yes, you will skid.

For questions about different drivetrains, you can always hit up the FirstWiki.

It's possible that it won't, but I'm guessing a higher-than-50%-chance that it will, on carpet.

The best way to know is to try it.
