kinect timed out

We have connected the kinect to the computer and launched the skeleton viewer, it showed the people's skeletons.
but at the frc driver station it shows the kinect as red and says it timed out.
any help or ideas?

Be sure to stop the Kinect skeleton viewer before launching the Kinect Server, or restart the Server. The Kinect drivers will only accept one connection at a time.
