AM Shifter belt drive conversion?

Can the AM Shifter be converted for a belt drive system?

Based on the CAD file, it looks like you could fit a pulley for two 9mm belts as a replacement for the two sprockets, though they would be right against each other (the distance from the drive sprocket to the bearing is only 20mm). Has anyone done this, and how well did it work?

yes, you can.

add pulleys to the shaft where the sprockets normally are.

I suggest using a supershifter though... only $10 more and mush easier to add pulleys to. basically a TB on steroids

It's 360 dollars more, since we already have the AM shifters on hand. Otherwise, I wouldn't even be asking this question. :)
