Is editing of the Driver Station/Running a non-DS program allowed?

My team would like to know if teams are allowed to modify the Driver Station software in any way, shape or form.
Another question too- If at a competition, Would a team be able to run a program in addition to the Driver Station on the Driver user on the Classmate????

You are allowed to modify the Dashboard code, but not the Driver Station code.

You allowed to run additional programs on the classmate as far as I'm aware. You are also allowed to use additional computers.

No for modifying the driver station per [R58] and the blue box under [R58].
