cRIO Imaging

When we try to image the cRIO using the 2012 imaging software, it simply tells us that it cannot find a connected cRIO. This is confusing because the old imaging software recognizes communication and so does the new driver station. We can also ping 10.xx.yy.2. The 3 updates for utitilites, the driver station, and LabVIEW on NI's website have all been installed.

Any ideas on what the problem may be?

Is Windows Firewall (or indeed any firewall) enabled? If so you may have to let the 2012 imaging software through. We had some instances of having to do this, but some where it wasn't necessary.

I'm pretty sure we allowed an exception for it, but I suppose I could just turn it off all together.

You should also make sure every other network interface is DISABLED. Don't just turn off the WiFi radio; actually disable the wireless networking in the control panel.
