Re: Can we use the old modem.
OK, so just to make sure I understand, according to R52 & R53, the DAP-1522 is the *only* radio that's legal for use in competition, yes?
TIA,
Mike

Re: Anyone successful with camera in RobotPy?
Hmm... Check to make sure that the subnet is set properly (255.0.0.0). You should be able to ping the camera (open a cmd box and do "ping 10.xx.yy.zz"). Also, you should be able to open the...

Re: cRIO says: FRC_UserProgram failed to load.
Oh, OK. That path would be something like:
c:\windriver\workspace\yourprojectname\PPC603gnu\yourprojectname\debug\yourprojectname.out
This name will change based on where you built your workspace....

Re: Anyone successful with camera in RobotPy?
To run a debug session, you right-click the project and select "Debug as" -> Open Debug Dialog instead of "Run as Kernel task". This brings up a dialog screen that will allow you to launch the...

Re: Anyone successful with camera in RobotPy?
OK, the deadbxx is a memory poisoning technique to help diagnose problems. The "Read access not allowed" indicates that there is a bad pointer address being accessed by the FRC_paramtask. Now that...

Re: Anyone successful with camera in RobotPy?
Is this by any chance on a 64-bit machine? I've seen these errors (context-sensitive help file that is) on machines where the WRS workbench didn't install properly. You might try to reinstall...

Re: Anyone successful with camera in RobotPy?
The error you're seeing is a bus error on the cRIO. The 0x6D... is the address that's being accessed caused the buss error. The problem happened in the FRC_paramtask application. So, this is a...

Re: cRIO says: FRC_UserProgram failed to load.
Good luck with the cRIO build. Yes, that is exactly what the "Deploy" command in Workbench does. However, on 64-bit Wndows 7, it doesn't appear to work quite correctly. Hence, my use of Filezilla...

Hi Joe,
If I were to want to hook up a resistor ladder on a 6-position rotary switch for one of the analog inputs, what rating resistor would you recommend? Something like 15K ohm? Or is there a...

Re: URGENT can't deploy in WindRiver
We found that the "Deploy" feature of Workbench was FUBAR. We used "Filezilla" to do the transfer and everything worked. Also, make sure that you have a console (or netconsole) running and watch...

Re: cRIO says: FRC_UserProgram failed to load.
We, too had problems with deploying code to the robot. Our issues were twofold and, I believe, related to running Workbench on a 64-bit platform.
First, the code deployment problem. For us, with...

Re: CAN Jaguar Help
OK, this sounds like some bad cable connections where the cable wasn't inserted all the way into the connector before it was crimped. But it could also be a termination problem or bad power wiring...

This error shows up if you have all of the Jaguars at the same CAN ID or you don't have the terminators installed properly. If you used the approach that puts the resistor in the RJ-12,...

Hmm... This sounds like cabling and/or termination problems. Make sure that your terminators haven't shorted out. The picture that has you putting the 100 Ohm resistor in the RJ-12 jack is...
