Re: Utilizing breaks between matches.

The problem with giving awards during breaks is a lot of teams work on their robot during the breaks. If everyone but the scouters are not there to accept the award, I feel like most of the team...

Re: Utilizing breaks between matches.

That's great, but there's only so many groups to choose from. Even if you combine FUN, F4, Gamesense and probably another podcast I'm missing, you still don't have nearly the amount of people for all...

Re: Accidentally created two STIMS accounts?

Re: Acer E 11 battery failure

I don't know if this applies to this specific acer model or this specific issues, but I've fixed several other acer battery problems by removing the battery and then holding the power button for 30...

Re: Vision code sample

I would highly recommend you to try and use GRIP instead. It's much more user friendly than IMAX, and it'll be easier to integrate. See here for more info:...

"The rio has a boulder sized hole though it? *shrug* Just duct tape it. That doesn't let the code out, right?"

Re: New Defense from Georgia FIRST - the movie

Nice stock iMovie trailer :D. Do you plan on making a metal one or sticking with a wooden one for competition?

Re: [FRC Blog] Control System Update

Since this is the upgraded model of the OM5P-AN, does this come with any upgraded stats like improved range or more throughput (not like that second one matters to FRC, but just curious)?

EDIT: Did...

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #640

How many nerds does it take to calibrate a robot?

None. That's what robots are for.

Re: [FRC Blog] 2nd District Event Registration Thursday – Important New Information

Since the biggest burden from regional teams has already happened, and because of competition between wanting to go across from north to south, I sincerely doubt it.

Re: Worst you've seen to the Defenses?

At GKC, we had knocked off the plastic cover on the side of the sally port at some point. That was the extent of the damage I saw. I know we have video of that somewhere...

Re: Water Game Confirmed?

We did this for many years.
Take it from, me: DON'T.
They look god awful.
Unless you want your robot to look like that stupid font on most of those android phones, JUST DON'T.

Re: [FRC Blog] Event Registrations, Behind the Lines, and Drive Base Opt-Out

Near KC, this (http://www.teamtitanium.org/alliance) is what I think of when I saw L-7 (ok, technically it's R-7, but it's LS R-7, so good enough)

Re: [FRC Blog] Registration Update and Reminder

You need to pass the YPP screening before registering for an event, so that may be your problem.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #638

A roomba, a ref, two emcees and a rookie walk onto a field. Somehow they all walk out with red cards. We're still not sure which team to award the roomba's to.

Re: A collaborative WCD reference book

I've gone ahead and added a page to the FIRST wiki on West Coast Drives. You can view it at https://firstwiki.github.io/wiki/west-coast-drive. At some point, I'll add it to the main drive train page,...

Re: A collaborative WCD reference book

I would certainly recommend that option. Just create a Markdown file on West Coast Drive (Or I can, if you'd like), and then it'd be super easy to edit from there. I can approve pull requests for...

Re: A collaborative WCD reference book

You might take a thing or two from the FIRSTwiki (https://firstwiki.github.io), and host it on Github. Assuming you have little to no pictures, Github works great. Create a quick repository and make...
