Re: Legality of purchasing Planetary Gearboxes from alternative sources.

I liked the Jags... Ok, they were bulky, and magic smoke would pour out of them by looking at them wrong and they ended up bricked when doing firmware updates and most teams didn't use them with CAN...

Re: Teams that have used a Raspberry Pi

Thank you!!! I'm going to start referencing this with teams when they ask me about Jetson stuff. I always tell them to start with GRIP but this might give them that "cool factor" of running a...

Re: Legality of purchasing Planetary Gearboxes from alternative sources.

It's hard to parse this post but... Are you trying to make an argument that AndyMark isn't affordable? I think you'll find that you're going to spend more time and money trying to engineer a...

I believe 14.04 is required.

It looks like you are missing a GPG key for one of the repos to me. That could be because the repo no longer...

Re: Problem installing Jetpack 2.3 for Jetson TK1

I would suggest following the jetpack installation guide. Missing packages is a symptom of not following that guide completely from what I've seen on the Nvidia embedded forums.

As for if you've...

Re: 3D printer: Favorite Filament

Anyone have a preferred source for rolls larger than the normal .5 and 1kg sizes?

Re: 3D printer: Favorite Filament

I won't tell you you're wrong but there is a lot of anecdotal evidence from the drone/UAV hobbyist community indicating that the CF reinforced filaments do add strength and...

Re: Defense pins?

Sadly not, genuinely just curious because all I ever saw were the hooks and they definitely didn't hold up.

I genuinely appreciate that thorough explanation of the pros and cons of defense retaining fastener selection. Thank you!

Re: STIMS Registration Guide

Same here up until this year... that online process is too much for some of my parents and I don't have the time to play tech support for this new system.

I'm extremely grateful for you folks for...

Re: STIMS Registration Guide

Well this is new and I'm going to guess how it came about...

FIRST has been asking teams for this kind of demographic data for some time and most teams have not filled it out in TIMS. I know this...

Re: Acquiring a 3D Printer?

It's awesome. We've turned out a few parts but we've got an FTC team we're sharing our space with that is turning out parts left and right on it.

The worst issue we've seen is that it can jam...

Re: [FRC Blog] What a Way to End the Week
