Re: pic: Cyber Blue 2016
Well we only have a half field so the drivers aren't seeing that far. From what I've seen, it hasn't been much of an issue yet on our half field. Basically, the boulder has to only hit 1 wheel to be...

Re: pic: Cyber Blue 2016
Our shooter is our intake the same wheels that spin the ball out also suck the ball in. The arm is on a pivot so it can be leaned up and down. The ball once sucked in rests on a pneumatic, and we...

Re: Team 1114: Simbot Seminar Series
Is there a paper on your scouting bet reward system (simbucks?). It looks like a lot of fun and our team needs to make scouting fun. I want to look into doing something like that for our team. I saw...

Does IN FIRST Archive Live Streams?
So I really want to watch the week 2 IN event. I can't due to conflicts so I want to watch it when I can. With that said, there is no "guarantee" that someone will be posting every match on The Blue...

Re: Storm on Bag and Tag Day?
No but according to what other people said, if you get locked out, you are allowed to go into the school and put everything in the bag without working on it. You are allowed to bring 30lbs of...

Re: Storm on Bag and Tag Day?
We aren't in this situation and I'm only a student, not a mentor with experience. But I'd suggest keeping 30lbs worth of stuff outside the bag and prefabricate that. Or just stuff everything the bag...

Re: What every mentor is thinking right now is...
Last year, we saw how playing so many matches in the new IN district affected our robot in wear and tear. Now that we have a real Alliance vs. Alliance game with some rough defenses, I'm curious to...

Re: Sleep Walking- Robotics Disease
I can say I've had the almost exact opposite effect in one way, but I can say I've acted differently on sleep than normal for sure this build season. I very rarely wake up late or miss my alarms...

Re: Australian 4613 Robot Reveal 2016!!
First of all, your field looks amazing! Secondly, very impressive robot. Most of the teams I've seen have had lots of issues aligning correctly with the goal. Your bot seemed to have a consistent...

Re: Scouting only half the field
The Winnovators (is that how it's spelled?) is a team that does something similar. They develop a scouting app and they let basically anyone use it as long as those teams that use it share the data...

Feel free to PM me what your scouting sheet looks like. I can send you a link to what our sheet is for Cyber Blue this year. Something that we find is that we collect a lot of data and only use a...

Re: Game Manual Test for FIRST Stronghold
I think this is a really cool test. Just out of curiosity, how are teams using this test? What happens if you don't pass? Can't travel? Or do some teams just have this for bragging rights? Any other...

Re: Harrison Boiler Robotics 2015 - Charybdis
Quote from like 20 minutes ago. Like I was saying, very impressive robot. This could be a winner for sure in week 2, 3, or 4 in Indiana. Great shooter. Great Auton. Can't wait to see you on the field...

Re: Week 0 Discussion
I'm not sure if anyone has a video of these, but 2 (or 3?) times today at 1741's event, 1747 was able to do an auto that crossed a defense and shot into the high goal. I was really impressed with...

Re: Scouting Questions
The biggest reason for pit scouting is for early qualification matches and pictures. The bigger "powerhouse" teams probably use it for cheese caking. We like to strategize with teams before...
