In the current ranking system, getting 4 Rps is an easy thing to do in IN if you have the win. So getting extra ranking points based on margin would encourage more high goals than low goals. Maybe if...

I definitely see your point but that is a one time scenario. The point of the winning margin RPs would be for teams that consistently win by 30 points or more. So say we stuck 2056 in a competition...

I don't think the intent of their strategy was to hurt 1501's robot. Knowing their students and the drive coach, that'd never be in the strategy. Hitting them over and over again may have been apart...
