It looks like they could turn a valve and disconnect the tanks after the pressure has been equalized. We used a similar setup controlled by the robot in 2014.

The SD540 is just a pwm controller like the Victor SP. It doesn't have any option for connecting an encoder like the Talon SRX. You can download the manual here...

I wish Vex would release a better WCD mount for the 3 Cim ballshifter. The heads of the tiny 8-32 screws always get destroyed by the chain and become impossible to tighten.

We used thunderhex with plastic versahubs and colsons on our drive train all season without issue. The hubs are still tight.

In 2014 with our inbounding robot we were pretty much destined to loose if we were anything but 2nd/3rd pick. If the competition was so uncompetitive that we made it to the 4 alliance captain in 2014...

We over sized the diameter of our hubs by about %10. We had no issues with slipping or installation.

The company that made our wheels put the tube of urethane on a plug in a lathe and cut it with a exacto knife lathe tool.
