Re: Florida Regional 2007
I know why one of the robots, 233, wasn't there. We had major structural issues with our tower which were awaiting repairs. We, like all teams in this situation, feel badly about letting our...

Re: Florida Regional 2007
To say that we were thrilled to be picked by S.P.A.M. is an understatement. Considering what we had demonstrated in the qualifying matches, we felt lucky to be picked at all, and then to get picked...

Re: pic: The TechnoKats 2007 Robot(s)
Your machines look good. I wish we could get two built so we could get better practice after ship.
We didn't try the kit wheels, but were tempted. That rubber feels really sticky and should work...

Re: Banebots 42mm gearbox: Recommendations for use
This thread has provided a lot of good information, with all kinds of technical tidbits. I'll try to make my comments brief regarding our experience.
We bought two 256:1 to use with F/P motors for...

Re: What kind of car do you drive??
Miatas and RX7's run in different classes. Both do well in their respective classes. The last generation of RX7's ran against late model Corvettes in the mid-90's, and often beat them. The Miatas...

Our "local" Fisher-Price service center didn't know what we were talking about when asked about buying #9012 Power Wheels motors. Is there some other source for the motors? There is no listing at...
