One way they can clean up the mess that's been made here is by freezing district merit-based qualification at their current numbers and turning over all new spots to the waitlist.

On the topic of...

Re: MAR 2017

Chesapeake ran its events in the first 4 weeks with a Week 6 DCMP. It's favorable to a lot of things, but it definitely limits teams in the CHS system from playing outside of it. The way the schedule...

Re: Ontario Moving to District Model in 2017

3-Day DCMPs are a hybrid of district events and regional events where you have a tools-on Day Zero for inspections and Day One has a full slate of practice matches until lunch, then it rolls in to...

Re: Ontario Moving to District Model in 2017

If you are a team in a district system, get at least one mentor to be a robot inspector! You'll only be really needed on Day Zero to get through initial inspections, and everyone will thank you.

Re: Capturing the tower Pink Team style

Stronghold is great.

Not having to unpack our workspace to get anything safely accomplished is better.

Re: Do Non-School Teams Have An Advantage?

This is a great question. I have firsthand experience with an equally draconian and tone-deaf attendance policy and I have the same befuddled reaction to it that you do.

Re: [FRC Blog] The 2016 Season, by the Numbers 2

CTR Breakouts are $10 a pop.

Not quite all around perfect but it's pretty close. It would be interesting to know the redemption rate for the IFI/CTR voucher...

The adaptation of something by a FIRST team might go something like this.

We give the team...

Re: [FRC Blog] Radio Silence
