I think it's a difference worth spending for teams that can afford it - That $85 is the means (for our FTC teams) of protecting against the shock load. Our FTC teams were so thankful when buying them...

Totally agree that a 'phone jail' only makes things worse in a lot of cases. Our set of policies took a few years to really settle into, but at this point our students see it as a part of the deal...

We've used ours for 2 seasons and have definitely had more than 6 adult-sized humans on it without issue.
That listing is the one I purchased and it's held up like a dream! I'm really not sure why...
