Exactly. I believe Ri3D is just an opportunity for experienced FIRST participants to mentor and inspire FRC teams around the world that might not otherwise receive the help.

The pinouts are slightly different between the two devices, however you'll still use the same interface SDA,SCL,VIN,GND to communicate via I2C. This guide is a great tutorial as to how to connect...

Keep in mind that the FIRST Senior Mentor program is for every program FLL Jr. through FRC. So that number might be a little small :)

Back in 2012/2013 FRC 3081 was supported by the Bloomington Noon Rotary club - I went and presented about FIRST on their behalf while they demoed their robot.

Yes, but overall it doesn't change that much. Most teams that submit for Chairman's at a competitive level also have a competitive robot. So most of the teams that will qualify based off of robot...
