1) The KSU floor was not removable, it is built in permanent. It isn't a situation of people saying no just to inconvenience teams.

2) A decision was made to...

Re: STIMS Registration Guide

Thank you for the guide. It was invaluable.

George P. Burdell was able to register in minutes and was approved by his father Edgar Smith.

With your guide, we should be able to get this done at a...

Re: Location of Georgia District Events

The reason for the KSU 'no' has to do with building scheduling, not a desire to host the event. KSU would extremely love to host but there are extreme demands on buildings, and academic requirements...

Re: The STEM Pipeline is Broken

It is less than explicitly explained, but if you look on page 31 of the report you will see 'Industry' as a component of the teacher development pipeline process.

The candidate will spend quality...

Re: SkillsUSA vs. FIRST

I'm a big fan of competition and choice.

It makes me insane when I hear a school administrator say that you cannot do X because we already do Y. And too often it is from an administrator that...

Re: #FIRSTLikeAGirl

There is an important sub-thread here. Most people, and rightly so, object to a pro-(fill in the blank) system of equality. They just simply want everyone to be treated equally, and given equal...

Re: Waterjet vs. Manual Build Process?

There are merits to making parts by hand and to CNC techniques.

I think for our team, the approach we will stick with is to have team members spend time in the off-season learning how to hand make...

If we could build the 10,000 sq. ft. facility I would budget 2.5M minimum....
