Re: Team 39: Target AND Field Oriented Drive (Target tracking)

Cool!

Does the target-facing rely on the update rate of the camera or are you using the distance-from-target in conjunction with the heading from the gyro to figure out how the robot should move...

Re: pic: 1024 Biohazard Wheel

Super cool!

Re: 842 Kicker On Bot

Re: Mouse pointer and dual monitors

sanddrag,

I don't know of one you can find online, but if you have any experience with any of the .NET languages (VB.NET, C#, etc.) you should be able to write a short program to do this for...

Re: pic: Air Suspension

Clever... since the pistons are all connected and of the same bore, the pressure and therefore the force on each wheel must be the same.

But since the weight distribution in your robot is not 100%...

Re: pic: New (to us) Tools for 418

These machines are a huge help. In 2008 we used our PlasmaCAM table to mock up our shooter, among other parts of our robot. It's really fast (8.4kW torch) to cut even in thicker stuff (1/8" sheet)....

Re: US Digital MA3

Wow... I wish I would have known about these in 2008. The only interfaces available then were the analog, and a really high frequency (~5KHz) pwm output option.

Having super high resolution like...
