Re: Congrats to this year's champions: 330 2481 120 1086

Congratulations to all 8 teams! This was a fantastic finals, as thrilling as it could possibly be. Wish there was some way to further reward the Finalists.

Beautiful and durable and classy - but - we have found that the slicker the bumper the better, as it prevents other robots from being able to catch/push us as well as they otherwise might.

Re: Banging the driver station

Interesting thread.
What would the commenters think about a robot that, either in Auto or Tele-Op, unintentionally repeatedly rammed in to other robots at full speed, hard enough to damage/disable...

Can someone in the Irving TX area "draft" this young man?

Sounds like FRC could be a good fit for this young man, and let him know that there are people out there who value kids like this.

From the Dallas Morning News: "Northwest Dallas County
Irving...

Re: Indiana Religious Freedom Bill

Tom Line is correct. I don't think we should use FRC to try to affect a national debate on the LGBT/Religious Freedom issue - or any issue other than awareness and support for STEM education.
My...

The problem with livestreaming was that our A/V folks didn't have a video board that had enough ports to capture HDMI or composite. We hope to remedy that for next...

Re: R2OC Drone Footage - Above the Field Action

Hi, I'm the non-professional/hobbyist who flew the Phantom 2 Vision and posted the three videos on YouTube.

A few thoughts/responses:
1) The first priority, overriding all else, was safety.
