Re: Does Your Drive Team Have Any Pre-Match Rituals?

Breaking the robot is probably the best pre-match/match ritual... Either it breaks because something got changed and wasn't done correctly, either it breaks during the game. Oh, and trying to...

Re: What is the strangest issue with a robot you have ever seen?

We were training drivers using the robot during the 2015 season and the robot kept getting a super high ping when it got fast enough... Every single time. And every time this happened, it was stuck...

Re: How does your team use Trello?

What about Smartsheet? It's pretty different but it's a powerful tool... My current job consists in implementing it in a large entreprise and it works pretty well.

There are a lot of uses to it,...

Re: The FIRST Devil's Dictionary

Enter (n)- 1. A button that only disables the robot. Not known by all but praised by a lot. Good replacement for Spacebar
2. A good way to stop the robot during a demonstration. Especially if...

Re: Team Organization & Fund Raising Poll

Smile Re: Drive train help.

For the drive train, I'd use aluminum... Even if wood can be solid, I'm too afraid of it breaking. It's still a viable option and my opinion is not worth a lot in mecanical stuff ::ouch::

I'd use a...

Re: FRC to be at the 2020 Olympics?

FRC as an olympic sport would be epic! Though, the "athletes" would all be minor :ahh: and their career wouldn't be long... What about each country chooses a school to represent them at the olympic...
