Week Zero events near Philly

Hi CD!

I was wondering if there are any Week Zero events around the Philadelphia area. I know FRC 303 is hosting one, but that is a little far from Philly.

Thanks

Re: [Ri3D] Team oRyon Presents Betelgeuse!!

They said in one of their videos that it was part of a Competition Robotics Lift Kit. But, after some searching on the internet, I can't find it. Can anyone provide a link?

Re: Making sure EVERY Team can do Auto

Yeah, in MAR at least there are always a few bots that don't have a solid auton. Our thinking was, in addition to a "yellow-tote auton", we would have a "gray-tote auton" that gets us 4-6 points...

Re: Making sure EVERY Team can do Auto

My question is: Does it get you points? No where in the manual can I find that stacks of gray totes made during auton will not be counted.

My thinking is that since auton this year is so dependent...

Re: Making sure EVERY Team can do Auto

Right, the points will be assessed after teleop ends. But you would still get points, right?

Re: Making sure EVERY Team can do Auto

I thought you can score gray totes in auto. What's to prevent you from stacking them?

Re: paper: Team 180 2014 Scouting Program

I just wanted to make sure that other teams were allowed to use this sheet. After trying to make our own sheet, my team saw this one and instantly knew we wanted something like this.

Re: Is Defense Finally Viable

That's a very good point. Do you think that being hit by the ball while intentionally blocking the low goal counts as intentionally touching the opponent's ball? Would a team get penalized for that?

Is Defense Finally Viable

With only one game piece per alliance, is defense a viable strategy this year?

Will the time spent by the opposing alliance trying to score around a defensive bot outweigh the loss of an offensive...

Re: Top 3 bots in your state: 2013

For PA, I'd say...

1. 1640- A consistent, fast cycler with a great 30-point climb. Also, an Einstein appearance doesn't hurt.
2. 341- While not as good as 2012, Daisy still built a great bot. As...

Re: Einstein 2013

I'm a little confused. Didn't Newton beat Galileo in the first two matches. Why did it go to a third?

On that note, where can I find the Einstein match results? (My phone died during semis.)

Re: Predictions Championship 2013: Archimedes

Why isn't 11 on this list? They are a solid bot with a regional win, a district win, and they were MAR finalists.
