Re: How can CAD be helpful to Electrical?

Each year, on 1501, the electrical team draws the robot's electrical print in AutoDesk Electrical. Not only does it help with wire labels and troubleshooting, you can also use it for inspection to...

Re: INsight: Indiana State Championships

I am sorry that this thread has turn into something to take away from the ENTIRE State of Indiana, and is leaving a negative taste about who we really are in Indiana perspectively to outsiders. The...

Re: Matches worth watching

I agree, Wayne, it's ok, we are all good here.

If you wanted to watch a favorite match, my favorite match was F1-2 when we had to call in the rookie team 6012 as backup bot in the finals... 829...

Re: pic: FRC Team 1501 T.H.R.U.S.T. presents

Robot and teams are who they are because of their mentors. Our sheet metal mentor passed away sometime ago and me being a Controls Engineering mentor struggle with sheet metal. Others pick up and we...

Re: pic: FRC Team 1501 T.H.R.U.S.T. presents

Re: pic: FRC Team 1501 T.H.R.U.S.T. presents

We have a two position angle adjustment on the top of the turret. During quals, we prefer to shoot anywhere on the field (no defense generally). We can shoot from the batter if we need too, so far it...

Re: IN District - Tippecanoe Event 2016

The ref's have a BIG JOB this year watching this game. I can't imagine sitting there trying to watch all the fouls, and everything they do. In this game, they might miss a defense crossing, or a...

Re: IN District - Tippecanoe Event 2016

I heard that in the FMS system this year, that both ref's scoring panels have to agree / be committed on the auto crossing score before teleop starts. I think teleop was starting before the ref panel...

Re: Top Chairman's Award Teams in your State

Well surprisingly, we (Team 1501) have never won the Chairman's Award, we've come close...matter of fact, this year we threw in the towel, my kids and mentors are done trying.

Interesting FACT...

Re: Pneumatic Regulators from Automation Direct

We chose the Automation Direct one because it has an integrated gauge. In the beginning of the season, you could not get the white gauge from AndyMark, so we went looking somewhere else. Now that...
