Re: 2010 North Carolina Regional

Well this is ideal timing. While some sick-nasty notorious florida teams are coming to my home state, I'll be 2,000 miles away (probably taking exams). Hopefully I can watch via webcast....

Re: THOR 09 - Thundering Herd of Robots 2009

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but our team has decided that THOR won't work out for us this year. I have no idea why our team decided this, but they want to postpone it until next year. Don't...

Re: THOR 09 - Thundering Herd of Robots 2009

I hope you can come, though it seems like a bit of a drive for you. Two 1319's would be amazing, however!

I don't see why one team can't enter two robots, as long as there's a different drive team...

Re: The Red Alliance?

It looks like it hasn't been touched in a while. Has a long way to go before it catches up to TBA. (I think we're lookin at a G14 on the blue alliance).

Re: 2009 Peachtree Regional

After discussing this a little more with the team, one mentor recalled 1319 not working in the finals, match 1; can anyone confirm or disprove this? I know for sure that 590 wasn't working in...

Re: 2009 Peachtree Regional

I believe what I'm about to say should be relevant to Peachtree, but this may have occurred elsewhere as well.

In SF 1-2, our robot would drive. More specifically, our pick-up and dumping...

Re: pic: Team 1024 Before and After

Fans? If you can find the weight for it... They seem to give teams a bit of an edge.

Re: pic: Team 1024 Before and After

Awesome! I see we weren't the only team to change from shooter to dumper. Rather than one hour to change over, it took us 6 hours. We were very satisfied with our new dumper. The most noticeable...

Re: 2009 Peachtree Regional

CONGRATS to 2655, 832, and 2415 for consistently playing great matches... y'all were a blast to watch. (Especially QF 1-1; never saw that one coming.)

THANKS to 1102 and 2119. I loved playing with...

Re: Top 25: Week 1

As far as voters go, here's my opinion: the more, the merrier. PM me! (And thanks to those that have...) For the critics of this poll: if you want it to be better, do something about it. I would...

Re: Top 25: Week 1

Everyone,
These replies are all AMAZING! The website idea sounds like an awesome way to get a better polling base. I'm still undecided about ranking teams that haven't played yet, but it sounds...

Re: Top 25: Week 1

Voters only voted on teams based on the past if the team has not competed yet, and even then tehy were to consider that team's robot (if they've seen it).

Question to everyone in general:...

Top 25: Week 1

It's late, but better than never. This ranking is based off of the week one regionals. Seven voters participated this time, but one list was thrown out due to extreme bias. Note that the top 10...

Re: Cheering at nationals

No way man! Every person should cheer for the teams they want to see win, whether they are from their division, home state, etc. During the finals, I tend to get (lovingly) disowned by my team for...

And yet, somehow seven people out of the eleven prompted found...

FRC Top 25- Post-Build Ranking

First, I honestly do not know where this thread should go. The previous ranking was moved to the "Games/Trivia" forum, but I don't believe it belongs there. The "Games/Trivia" forum is a sub-forum...
