Re: Video Review Needs to Happen Now
I think it's worth discussing exactly what a successful replay challenge should be able to accomplish, in order to more clearly distinguish between good and bad policies.
It's probably inherently...

There's a similar discussion, including a GDC member's account1 of the old inoperability criterion here (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?p=619422#post619422). (It's not specifically...

Re: Team Update 14 (2016)
This is certainly an old argument, but I continue to disagree with this outlook. Most fundamentally, teams frequently do not, and in many cases effectively cannot know the intent precisely. Every...

Re: Pneumatic Regulators from Automation Direct
I'm inclined to continue using the past interpretation of the rule to resolve the Norgren issue in favour of legality. Since a Norgren R07-100-RNEA regulator can frequently1 be adjusted above 50...

Re: T8 - No sandbagging
That's my feeling about it as well. It provides conspicuous moral authority.
I don't think it's unenforceable—but that's because enforcement isn't just a job for the officials. The social norms...

That's an unreasonably narrow formulation of the problem. For example, to the extent that Han Chinese populations systematically discriminate against Chinese people of Uyghur or Mongol descent by...

As I'm sure you know—but in case others haven't considered this—weight does not include buoyancy. Our conventional methods for measuring weight don't account for that source of error, but with most...
