Thank you! Yeah, the 1x1 was 1/16 wall. The superstructure is designed to hold up to 200lbs. It has a minimum safety factor of 40. We used roloc pads for the surface finish, it works...

We used .09" thick 6061 for the gussets. They pretty much blend in when you polish them with Scotch Brite pads haha.

We use circular Scotch Brite pads with a drill press to polish our metal with swirls. It's fast, cheap, and looks amazing!

Yup. Money is tight for us right now, especially since the Michigan state grant went from $5000 (or $9000, cant remember lol) to $1000. Its a fiberglass filled nylon resin, so it should be good...

4 BAG motors for drive, and 4 BAGs for turning.



Yup. This is basically just a light duty test bench so BAGs should do just fine. (The whole thing weights less than 35lbs with the battery)
