Re: Does the RoboRio have mounting holes?

We're not seen that in our testing, nor have I seen any RMAs as a result of this, but the screws do use inserts, and given enough force will pop out so I believe you!

With roboRIO you have a variety...

Re: Does the RoboRio have mounting holes?

The holes on the back are designed to securely hold roboRIO, so feel free to use it. As others have already pointed out, the cable tie slots are there as an alternative and we see plenty of teams...

Re: WILL.I.AM's comment on Einstein

I might be overruled, but "TSIMFD Robotics" might just be the name of our FLL Jr team next year.

Re: Airport to Worlds

Also just be aware that only Uber Black picks up from the airport. You could take the metro one stop and uber from there, but by then might as well stay on the train.

For FTC - you can hop off at...

Such a great story - you make this particular alumnus quite proud! How would you prevent this setup from getting in the way of accessing the landfill?

Re: PSA: Please update your firmwares

Note if you've updated roboRIO's FW to 2.1.0f3 (2.1.0f3) you don't need to update it again. In terms of opportunities to go wrong, the FW image is more risky (prone to issues if power is removed,...

Re: RoboRIO Red Power LED

On Friday I performed an IR scan on this unit and found the over current protection engaged (expected for a 5V short) but no other hot spots. Compressed air under the AI/Relay IO connectors seemed...

Re: How to Fix a RoboRIO Unrecoverable Error?

Unrecoverable is actually somewhat recoverable. First thing to try is to go into safe mode (press and hold reset button until status light is solid lit and then let go) and try again. If that...
