Re: Grades and Student Travel, Etc

Re: Grades and Student Travel, Etc
After a year long posting hiatus, I have returned for this thread. Having academic restrictions on FIRST team membership is incorrigible.

Bored? Have a random IM conversation...
Not at all first related, but a project by a FIRSTer, and something I thought might appeal to CD'ers. It's a little AIM bot I wrote that randomly pairs people up and lets you have an anonymous...

Re: MIT vs. Stanford
What do you care what other people think?
Visit the schools, make up your own mind. Don't discount schools because they lack a "reputation". Where you went to school matters much less then what you...

Not to my knowledge. But there is one in DC (http://www.nbc4.com/technology/4601364/detail.html).

Re: a fun robotics play
Continuing with Mr. Tyler's idea:
Start with one event description ("Rocky wants to win a fight to prove he's a real man"). Then break it down into three smaller events. Then break those down....

Re: How do you feel toward you robot?
This is the best robot we've ever built. Last year's was a great machine, but didn't really play the game too well (well, in the offeseason it did...). The year before we were clueless (but...

Re: How do you manage code changes?
I use subversion with Tortise (http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/) . Elite Frontier (https://elitefrontier.org/mt/) will provide SVN hosting to FIRST teams for free (they already host 116 and 1418).
