Re: Structural Integrity of Competition Defenses?

And that's exactly what I was worried about. As someone who is not in a mechanical subgroup, that was the first thing that came to mind... Mostly because the components used in the defenses looked...

Re: Possible interference during San Diego Finals

Is there a video of F1 (or whichever match it was) on Youtube? Asking only because of school wifi reasons.

EDIT: Cheated the system, saw the video. That's actually pretty scary. What's more, it...

Structural Integrity of Competition Defenses?

Ever since Kickoff, I've had a lingering fear that a robot could accidentally break a defense. I haven't gotten a chance to go to a competition or even see a livestream this year so I'm not familiar...

Re: Build Season Habits

I think it's worth mentioning that I haven't gone to a single meeting without wearing a hat, usually a super warm, super stretched beanie.

Re: 9328490238209

True, I guess. Although the amount of speculation that's being put behind a 13 digit number is pretty cool, regardless.

Build Season Habits

Last build season (which was my first), I found that I couldn't function unless I came in every day with at least 2 large coffees. Later on, I found that I was doing coffee runs for a bunch of...

Re: What was the best FRC game POLL

Having only participated in Recycle Rush, I'm voting off of what sounds best. I voted Lunacy. I know what I'm doing! ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

Re: 9328490238209

This post is truly a testament to how frenzied FRC members can get days before Kickoff as well as how many FRC members have top-tier decryption ideas. Truly amazing.

Re: FRC Countdown to Kickoff 2016

Whenever I step away from my laptop, I'm going to make sure this stays up on the screen.

Gotta share the hype.

Cool/Unique Offseason Projects

While we anxiously await January 9th, I'm sure teams have created some adventurous, unique, or even silly offseason projects. For example, we (Team 1073) are trying swerve drive for the first time (I...

Re: Why do team's fold?

I agree with this. Conflict only serves to slow progress. Too much of it can affect the students, even going as far as draining motivation and morale from them. Another issue I feel would be...

Re: pic: Nasus

If there is anything our robot should be remembered for, it's flipping in finals.

(The hard work we put into it too, I guess.)
