254 buys zip wire at Halted in Santa Clara. It's nice and flexible, high strand count. Can buy by the foot or the spool. Might be relevant since you're local.

There's nothing wrong (or particularly scary) about using 755 motors in a custom gearbox without a Versaplanetary. Consider using the West Coast Products 32DP gears...

254 is thrilled that 5829 was able to make it to the event - your team is a class act and it is always a blast playing with new teams that we don't normally see at the California regionals....

Thanks, Bill, for the information. Quick clarifification that the Cheesy Arena logs show that no robots were e-stopped and this manifested on the FMS side as lost robot communications. Possibly a bug...

You should do this instead of rushing into a purchase for budget machinery that hasn't been thoroughly researched and may be a huge compromise on what you actually need it to do. FIRST can hold money...
