Robot Code Java https://github.com/FIRST1939/Stronghold2016
Our robot code improved...

Re: Want easily programmable Autonomous Modes? Introducing Build An Auton! (Closed Be

This looks really awesome, and I submitted an application for my team, but this probably falls under R14 from last year (usual warning about possible rule changes implied).

Re: No Robot Code Driver station

This behavior means that your code is experiencing an Exception somewhere in the initialization. I would recommend connecting with net console to watch the initialization and find the bug. I have...

Re: pic: VorTX logo

The logo is very visually appealing, but I would recommend incorporating your team number into the logo. My team has discovered that team number needs to be in all branding, so that other teams can...

Re: pneumatic catapults

You don't want to leave the retracting side empty because then you will get stuff inside the piston. We found a really nice filter that screwed into the piston.

Our piston setup was weighted weird...

Re: pneumatic catapults

In 2014, my team used two large pneumatic pistons on a catapult to launch the ball. We quickly discovered that every little advantage you give the piston in extending quickly makes a large...

Re: R Package for Downloading FIRST API Data

I took the world OPR data and made a graph.

EDIT: I made a better graph.

Re: Win a Mini Wooden Cooler Master Case

A Razer Goliathus is a mousepad...so I guess it depends on how much you value a giant mousepad.

Re: Best Robots Not To Qualify For Champs

4028 Beak Squad had an amazing robot last year that almost didn't qualify for champs. Luckily, 1939 generated a wildcard at Queen City and sent the well deserving team to championship. 4028 even went...

Spam

I have seen several different ideas about how to combat spam, but as far as I can tell, nothing has been implemented. I'm not even sure that there is someone maintaining the actual website (as...

Re: Video of your team's best match

Carson Q118- https://youtu.be/FKQ2AHvmJHE

This was our last match of the official season and was by far the most fun. The match started off rough. Our low goal autonomous almost scored, and our...

Re: Please post the 2016 Worlds Pit Map when found

The Championship app has a similar map, confirming that each division's pits are in the same place. I would guess we won't see exact pit locations until Wednesday.

Re: Double Rookie All-Star Club

It seems like the wildcard generated from winning RAS twice should go to a rookie, but I don't know how you would decide which one. It would be easier to just limit it to one win per year, spread...

Re: QS18VN6LP: Wiring Diagram???

When we got to competition, our inspector pointed out that the wire was too small of a gauge for a 20amp breaker and asked us to move it to the VRM.

Re: SuperScouter For FRC -- A Multiplatform, Extensible Scouting System

I did some more testing and it appears to be a problem with using two different schemas with the same regional. (Causes it to crash while exporting)

Re: SuperScouter For FRC -- A Multiplatform, Extensible Scouting System

I tried this software out today by setting up a basic schema. I was able to successfully upload and export data, but after designing a more complex schema it stopped working. Whenever I go to...

Re: FRC TEAM 1939 FIRST STRONGHOLD REVEAL: THE TROJAN RABBOT

I look forward to seeing what 2410 has made too. We hope that we will be able to quickly do cycles and maybe scale.

Yes, a killer rabbit. I hope to see what 1983 has made in person.

Re: [FRC Blog] Audience Displays and a Favor

I enjoy that FIRST tried to pick some medieval themed teams for the graphics. I'm happy to know that my team is ranked 21st at an event we aren't attending :).
