Re: 3 x 5" wheels?
If you're dead set on 5" diameter wheels,VEX EDR (http://www.vexrobotics.com/vexedr/products/accessories/motion/edr-wheels.html) has some. Interfacing with Tetrix will require some creativity.

Open practice field in Nor Cal?
Are there any teams in Nor Cal willing to let Team 5499 use their practice field tomorrow and/or Tuesday afternoon? We would really appreciate the opportunity to get more practice before bagging.

Glad to see a viable (and then some)* replacement for the 18V BB RS-775. Is the 775pro made by...

Re: HSM Express+Tormach undersized holes

Re: 971 CNC Router
Any chance of releasing the design notes or the CAD model? I'd particularly like to learn more about how you analyzed the different configurations and modified the design to get your desired rigidity.

Re: Drive System Control Compensation
I've implemented ramping speed filters in RobotC using this example (http://wiki.matthewfl.com/robot:robotc) from one of our old programming leads. Essentially, the filter adds to the current speed...

We successfully drove over a platform with 8" AndyMark Mecanum wheels on a Nano Tube Chassis. The frame tubing is 3" tall, giving us 2.5" of clearance.
